A long line of lifts and ropeways that once connected the amusement park at Shitaka Lake to Rakutenchi in Beppu. The amusement park is now completely gone, but the chairlift and ropeway remain deep in the mountains. An abandoned heritage site that looks like something out of a movie. It’s quite a difficult place to get to on your own. Experience this mysterious worldview for yourself! I recommend everyone in Oita Prefecture to go at least once. Even if you have no mountain experience, even elementary school students can go!
