When it comes to Mt. Yufu, the standard route is to start from the central trailhead or climb and return to the central trailhead. Most people take this route, but this time we will start from the East Trailhead After climbing around the crater rim, reaching both peaks, we will follow the Tsukaharaguchi route, which is not often used, and cross Hebeyama before returning to the East Trailhead. This route has almost no signs in places, so it is difficult to go unless you know the mountain well. Let’s go and enjoy a new view of Mt. Yufu that is a little different from usual! In winter, the rime frost that appears around the crater rim is very beautiful.
